Why Sturgis Stands Out...

Whether you are there to see the half million other people or you are there to stand out from the crowd, Sturgis stands out amongst the crowd of motorcycle rallies.  To take a bird's eye view of Main Street Sturgis during the rally shows the massive amount of people attending the rally.
 

While taking a closer look among the bikes, always find one that stands out.  Captain America has parked his bike at Sturgis this year. 

Whether you enjoy the motorcycles, the music, the people, or the beautiful scenery within the Black Hills of South Dakota the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has something that is just right for you.  Or, you could be like me when flying back from a business trip last night, and we got to chat with the Lynryd Skynyrd Band as they flew in for their show with Sugarland!  What a great set of guys to meet.

Sexy Lines Abound in Sturgis

Long live Sturgis!  Whether you are a motorcycle fanatic or like to look at the human figure, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is the place for you.  Sexy lines abound if you know where to look for them! 

The human figure is on display during Sturgis - either in its glory, or in it's infamy!

And the sexy lines on the bikes are captivating.  Forget the big, all of main street photograph and put on your macro lens.  Get close - observe the lines.  You'll never know what you might capture.

Sturgis or Bust!

It's opening day of the 2012 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, SD!  But the bikes have been flowing through the Black Hills of South Dakota for the last few weeks.  With many of the campgrounds kicking off their concert series this last Friday, most will tell you the rally is well underway already. 

Let's take a ride through the rally together this week.  Just two rules:

     1.  Keep your feet firmly planted on the ground.  This place can really trip you up!

     2.  No one likes a show-off.  Ah, what the heck...show-off!
